Each year deep in the Highlands of Papua New Guinea, thousands of lives hang in the balance physically, but even more so, spiritually. Since 1967, medical missionaries have been leaving their comfort zones and traveling to one of the most unique, challenging, and beautiful places in the world, to serve as the tangible hands and feet of Christ.
There is a real urgency now for the next generation of doctors to pick up the baton and carry on the mission of loving people into the Kingdom through the gifts and talents of medicine. Three long-term, career missionary doctors will retire in the next 5 years. Will you pick up their batons?
