Samoa:  Word was just received from Asia-Pacific Regional Director, Dr. Mark Louw,  of two Ordained Elders from Samoa, who have passed away within the past 24 hours as a result of diabetic related illnesses.

Vaoiva Lemafoa Leleaivaoese (52), Senior Pastor of Falelima Church of the Nazarene, died of Diabetes and a form of Dengue fever (a mosquito born disease endemic to the tropical areas of our region).

Alofa Tatiti (55), Senior pastor of Salelesi Church of the Nazarene, died of Diabetic complications.

You can imagine the impact this has on the families, ministry teams, and laity of this small island nation.

Please continue to lift up our brothers and sisters in Samoa, the district, and the District Superintendent.

Samoa, formerly known as Western Samoa, is an oceania country which encompasses the western part of the Samoan Islands, in the South Pacific.

— Submission: Dr. Mark Louw, Regional Director
