Guam: The Guam First Church of the Nazarene just recently announced the appointment of Rev. Dale and Marlene Hansen as their interim pastoral family.

Rev. Dale and Marlene both grew up in Northern Idaho. They have two sons and four grandchildren. They both attended Northwest Nazarene University (NNU). The Hansens have been in pastoral ministry for 39 years, spending 32 of those years in Canada.

Aside from NNU, Rev. Dale also graduated from Nazarene Theological Seminary (NTS) and served as a pastor after he finished studying. Marlene, on the other hand, was a very efficient secretary for Alberta Health Services, Department of Health. Rev. Dale and Marlene both retired just a few months ago before coming to Guam.

As the Hansens assume this important role in the church, let us pray for them, that they may be guided by the Holy Spirit as they in turn guide the Guam First Church of the Nazarene with Christlike compassion and leadership.

The Hansens are following after Rev. Larry and Elaine Cornett, who have retired for the second time, after several blessed years of service to the Church and families of Guam.  Larry and Elaine are looking forward to spending some time in India with their son Jonathan and his family.
